May I ask some help. I'm one of Linux (Ubuntu) user.
I'm facing typing problem in Myanmar. All are PatSint. E.g. KeitSa WeitSa; ThatTi; PyitSi; PokGo etc.
I installed MM3 Keyboard. Thanks in advance.

Gnome3's UI might seem similar to Mac Desktop. But not actually. I suggest you guys to take a try. I'm not much familiar with Mac but I have experiences. This is something different.
Gnome3 is an intuitive and there were some concepts behind such as Semantic Desktop. It is a standard for Desktops and Applications. Applications which follow the standard would able to share semantic metadata between each other. It gives greater insight into other applications and services. That is actually why I said Gnome3 could be the future of Desktop.

Gnome3 looks really nice but they are very similar to Mac desktop UI.
OS X doesn't have task bar and start menu. And they have super cool Expose (probably the most function I use everyday) and Spaces (you know what is this).
Hot corner is similar to Active Screen Corners (4 corners) in OS X. Quite useful for quick desktop access without any click.

Gnome3 ေတာ့ စမ္းမၾကည့္ရေသးပါဘူး.. ဒါေပမယ့္ အခုု ကိုုအိေမာင္ ေၿပာသလိုုမ်ိဳးဆိုုရင္ တခ်ိဳ႕ features ေတြက mac နဲ႔ ေတာ္ေတာ္ ဆင္ပါတယ္။ ဥပမာ Activities ဆိုုတာ Mac က Spotlight နဲ႔ တူပါတယ္.. အတိအက်တူတာမ်ိဳး ေတာ့ ဟုုတ္မယ္မထင္ပါဘူး.. ေနာက္ ညာဘက္နဲ႔ ဘယ္ဘက္ကြာပါတယ္..
Application Switching, Organize လုုပ္တာ ကလဲ အတိအက်မဟုုတ္ပဲ ခပ္ဆင္ဆင္တူပါတယ္... mac မွာ အခုု Gnome လိုုေတာ့ Icon ေတြ ေအာက္မွာ သက္ဆိုုင္ရာ specific app windows ေတြ လာမၿပပဲ dock ေပၚက icon ကိုု 3 sec ဖိမွ ၿပေပးတာမ်ိဳး ကြာပါတယ္... အလုုပ္လုုပ္ပံုုကေတာ့ ၂ ခုုလံုုး သေဘာတရားတူ မယ္ထင္တယ္..
Multiple Desktop ကိုု mac မွာ spaces လိုု႔ ေခၚပါတယ္.. Unix based ေတြမိုု႔ အလုုပ္လုုပ္ပံုု အကုုန္တူပါတယ္.. ေနာက္ spaces မွာ overview ၾကည့္လိုုက္ရင္ applications အကုုန္လံုုးကိုု ၿမင္ရသလိုု သူတိုု႔ေတြ ဘာ process လုုပ္ေနသလဲ ဆိုုတာပါ အလုုပ္လုုပ္ပါတယ္။ ဥပမာ ေအာက္ကပံုုမွာဆိုု ကြ်န္ေတာ္ quick time videos ၂ ခုုဖြင့္ထားတာကိုု spaces က ၾကည့္ရင္လဲ video rendering လုုပ္ပါတယ္ အသံလဲ ပံုုမွန္အတိုုင္းၾကည့္လုုိ႔ရပါတယ္။ space တစ္ခုုနဲ႔တစ္ခုု drag and drop လုုပ္ၿပီး window ေတြေရြ႕လိုု႔ရပါတယ္။
ဆိုုးတာေတြကေတာ့ mac က apple မွာပဲ run ၿပီး hardware ေစ်းၾကီးပါတယ္။ open source မဟုုတ္တဲ့အတြက္ နဲနဲေလးပဲ customize လုုပ္လိုု႔ရပါတယ္။ free မရတာ ေနာက္ major update ထြက္တိုုင္း ပိုုက္ဆံထပ္ေပးရတာေတြ ဆိုုးပါတယ္။ အမွန္ေၿပာရရင္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္က command line ထက္ UI, Transition animation ေတြနဲ႔ သံုုးရတာ ပိုုၾကိဳက္ပါတယ္.... ေလာေလာဆယ္ေတာ့ linux မွာ suse interface ကိုု ၾကိဳက္ပါတယ္။ Gnome ကိုုေတာ့ open suse တင္ၿပီး စမ္းၾကည့္လိုုက္ပါဦးမယ္.. ေက်းဇူးပါ...

it seems quite cool ~ but I just love my Mac UI =D also I'm sure that I won't like that GNOME UI , however, if there's a spacious and smooth Multi-Touch trackpad ( from Mac ) for Linux .. it'll be great :))
